Background of C. Mattias Stolpe

Mattias Stolpe was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and moved to the US in the early 1980’s to pursue the wine business. Currently Mattias Stolpe owns and runs CMS Wine Marketing, a marketing and consultation company representing wineries from California and Washington State, doing business for these wineries in the southwestern United States and in Sweden.

Creating new business opportunities between US and Sweden has allowed Mattias to maintain his deep Swedish roots. Still fluent in Swedish, he remains active in the Swedish communities in Arizona and has drawn his wife Laura Stolpe into various Swedish groups. Mattias is also on the board of directors of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, Arizona chapter (SACC-AZ) since 2005.
